My favorite bar in Santa Fe. Good music. Good beer. Good people. Decent food. - Lee

[Frommers] You can almost always catch live music at this casual, unpretentious place (yet it's not a "sports bar"). The crowd here is somewhat younger than at most other downtown establishments, and on certain nights, the bar is completely packed. In addition to the open mic night on Tuesdays, a variety of local bands play here regularly -- cranking out many types of music, from blues to rock to jazz to bluegrass.
[IgoUgo] This unassuming club, just off the Plaza, with its panel of television sets makes it resemble a sports bar, yet, in reality, it ranks as one of Santa Fe's hottest nightspots for live music. Jazz is the main draw featuring some of the top traveling musicians in the country. There is also an occasional offering of blues and bluegrass, and even rock which tends to attract the younger crowds. Tuesdays are especially entertaining with open-mic night featuring local musicians.
[Santa Fe Reporter] El Paso is a cozy rock 'n' roll joint with live music and a diverse, youngish crowd. The well-appointed bar is staffed by experience bartenders who can turn a margarita-and-sports-jacket night into an Irish car bomb blowout any night of the week.
El Paseo is one of the best places in Santa Fe to enjoy a good night out. Go there to drink, eat, or meet some single guys/girls and you won’t be disappointed.
