[Fodors] Salsa fans love this upbeat spot where chips are served with six varieties of the hot stuff. The long-running restaurant moved from a prosaic shopping center off St. Michael's Drive to a charming, historic adobe house in the Guadalupe District in spring 2006, greatly enhancing the dining ambience. Colorful paintings hang on the white-washed walls. The menu mixes the expected Mexican fare -- enchiladas, soft tacos -- with more unusual regional recipes, such as chapulines (grasshoppers -- yes, you read that correctly -- sautéed with garlic butter).
